This is a boy hugging a chicken.
Reddit claims: "Chicken didn't recognize him at first because he got a haircut".
Chickens are terrifying but I guess this is pretty cute.

  1. I think this is a questionable behavior from the chicken, usually they begin to run away as a human approaches. Or maybe the kid just takes care of them...mmmguess we may never know

  2. This is a surprising video because usually chicken do not allow just anyone to touch them. Our neighbors have chickens and they invited us over once so they could give us eggs, and when the chicken saw us they scattered.

  3. Astonishing as this video may appear, I find it interesting that human and animal relationships can get to that extreme. Although it is rare to see this types of scenarios, this basically reminds us of what love can achieve. Regardless if it's a animal or a human I believe love can break barriers and make the impossible be possible.

  4. I love this video! I volunteered at a chicken sanctuary once and found that they actually loved interacting with humans. They would nap with volunteers and loved to untie our shoelaces when we were sitting. They also loved being held when done correctly. they're extraordinarily intelligent animals.

  5. Interesting that the chicken is so reciprocative to the boy's love. Somewhat unrelated, when I tried to get close to one of my uncle's roosters, it stuck out its sharp talon at me. Later on, I found out that specific rooster was bred to be a fighting cock.
